The Buffalo Bills didn't have a bad season in 2025.
They were 12-5 and made the playoffs. That's the kind of record a lot of teams would absolutely love to have and "bounce back" from this offseason.
But, it wasn't enough. The Bills have come close to the Super Bowl year after year, and enough was enough. In a shocking move, the team let head coach Sean McDermott walk. Then, they replaced him with offensive coordinator Joe Brady. On a side note, if they really wanted change, they probably should have gone outside the Bills' staffers for a new head coach.
Regardless, the Bills are now gearing up for their first season under Brady. But, if they want quarterback Josh Allen to thrive and actually get to the Super Bowl, there's one move they could make to help that.

Brent Sobleski of Bleacher Report wants to see the Bills sign a veteran wide receiver. In an article out this week, he says the team needs to make this move to help Allen.
"Surprisingly, the organization still has a lot of faith in its wide receivers, though the team added DJ Moore and rookie Skyler Bell. Instead of stopping there and hoping Joshua Palmer and Keon Coleman give the team more than last year, the Bills should still be in the wide receiver market," he says.
Should the Bills Sign Another Wideout?
You can never have too many wide receivers, and that's especially the case for a team so desperate to make the Super Bowl that they let go of their beloved coach to make it happen. So, yes, the Bills would be wise to add a veteran to this roster.

A veteran wideout could really help during the playoffs. That's when the pressure is on and younger players can crumble. If Allen has some wide receivers around him who can perform under pressure in the postseason, that's a game-changer.
