AJ Dybantsa is projected to go as early as No. 1 overall in the upcoming 2026 NBA Draft.
Dybantsa, 19, will enter the league and join some of his basketball idols — including all-time great NBA superstar LeBron James.
During a recent sit-down interview alongside his fellow draft classmates Cameron Boozer and Darryn Peterson, Dybantsa was asked who he's most excited to play against at the NBA level.
"Hopefully Bron don't retire. Playing against Bron will be great. I don't think none of us get starstruck. Even if we're playing against him we won't get starstruck," Dybantsa said. "But at the end of the day, it's LeBron. The fact that you're on the same court with LeBron is crazy."

According to recent reports, James is expected to re-sign with the Lakers and return to the court for his 24th NBA season. As a 41-year-old All-Star this past season, the future Hall of Famer averaged 20.9 points, 7.2 assists and 6.1 rebounds per game — still performing as one of the best players in the league.
When Dybantsa was born in January 2007, James was a three-time NBA All-Star in the midst of his fourth campaign with the Cleveland Cavaliers.
