Soap opera star Jessica Serfaty told her billionaire ex-fiancé Leonardo Maria Del Vecchio that she was pregnant over the summer — but wasn’t sure whether he or another man was the father, the Italian-born Ray-Ban heir claims.
Del Vecchio, 31, said in an interview with The Post that in August he was lounging on his yacht moored off the Mediterranean island of Sardinia when Serfaty called him from Los Angeles with the urgent news.
The call kicked off a scramble in which Del Vecchio — whose fortune has been estimated at more than $5 billion — said he chartered private jets to fly Serfaty and a team of doctors to Sardinia for a series of paternity tests, including one aboard his yacht, that ultimately indicated he wasn’t the father.
Despite no longer being a couple, Del Vecchio said he and Serfaty slept together in early July in Monaco while staying at the Hotel de Paris in Monte Carlo.
Immediately afterward, Serfaty — who appeared on “America’s Next Top Model” and starred as lawyer Sloan Petersen in “Days of Our Lives” — flew to Rome, where she slept with another man: a mogul in the liquor business, according to Del Vecchio.
A recording of a phone call between Del Vecchio and Serfaty reviewed by The Post also captures her acknowledging the encounter.
“I had sex with Jessica on the fourth or the fifth of July. Then she flew to Rome apparently seeing this guy,” Del Vecchio told The Post. “Then after a month, she was like, ‘I’m pregnant — It can be you or him.'”
The claims come as Del Vecchio faces allegations that he hired a reputation-management operative to wage a vicious smear campaign against his former fiancée, including by spreading claims online that she was a prostitute — accusations detailed in recent investigations by The Hollywood Reporter and The New York Times.
Leaked audio recordings published by The Hollywood Reporter captured a profanity-laced exchange in which a fixer working with Del Vecchio said of Serfaty: “wow is it going to get f–ing nasty for this girl.”
Serfaty didn’t respond to The Post’s multiple requests for comment, including texts, emails and a message sent to her Instagram account.
Serfaty publicly denied pregnancy rumors earlier this month, telling Page Six on Oct. 13: “Not pregnant. Most definitely not with Leo.”
While they waited for the paternity test results, Del Vecchio said he and Serfaty — along with her ex-husband, Ididia Serfaty, and their son Roman — flew to his home in Milan, where they took two additional tests.
A few weeks later, in September, Del Vecchio said he phoned Serfaty to deliver the results.
“I’m going to tell you what’s going to happen — I’m going to Rome on Tuesday. I’m going to have a back up test to make sure that you’re not lying to me,” Serfaty said, according to the phone recording reviewed by The Post.
The recorded conversation also captures Serfaty claiming that the man had offered her $5 million to have a baby with him, though she said she didn’t intend to accept the offer.
“I’m having it aborted, but I’m going to have a test done anyways,” Serfaty said, according to the recording. “I don’t want a baby with this guy. I don’t care about the money.”
The current status of Jessica Serfaty’s reported pregnancy couldn’t be learned.
Del Vecchio, who denies orchestrating a smear campaign, contends that Serfaty has been the one attacking him publicly because she was upset by the reported paternity results.
Roman Serfaty, 18, told The Post that his mother was upset by the reported results because “It was my understanding that she wanted it to be Leo’s.”
“The moment that she discovered that it was not mine, she went to the newspapers again and again,” Del Vecchio said. “I never did any campaign against her. She did everything to have some advertisement, let’s call it. She falsely alleged and reputationally damaged me and betrayed on every possible angle.”
Del Vecchio said the allegations have damaged his reputation and complicated business dealings involving EssilorLuxottica and Delfin, the investment company owned by his family.
He said he hopes the paternity-test results will help clear his name, although he declined to elaborate on which business dealings have been affected.
Separately, the Del Vecchio family is embroiled in a bitter feud over control of Delfin, which received a reported €30 billion takeover offer from Czech billionaire Michal Strnad, according to Reuters.
Del Vecchio is one of eight heirs to the massive fortune left by his father, who founded eyewear giant Luxottica in the 1960s. Its successor, EssilorLuxottica, owns brands including Ray-Ban, Oakley and Persol.
The ugly spat is the latest chapter in a feud between Del Vecchio and Serfaty, whose relationship has been the subject of celebrity gossip for years. The pair became engaged in 2023, celebrating their romance with appearances at the Met Gala and other glitzy outings.
But the couple had a falling out in 2024 after Serfaty accused Del Vecchio of abusing her aboard a yacht near Saint-Tropez. Serfaty said Del Vecchio hit her in the head, while Roman Serfaty, who was present, said his mom broke a vodka bottle over Del Vecchio’s head.
Serfaty quickly retracted the allegation, but later told The Times she did so because of Del Vecchio’s alleged smear campaign.
Meanwhile, Jessica Serfaty — a former girlfriend of actor Ed Westwick, influencer Logan Paul and One Direction singer Niall Horan — faces fresh legal woes.
A previously unreported court filing accuses her of giving her son Roman, then 17, what witnesses believed was ketamine at an after-party in Los Angeles on her birthday in April. The filing also alleges that months later she struck him on the back, leaving a welt.
According to the filing, Jessica Serfaty gave Roman and two of his friends a small baggie containing what they believed was ketamine after they asked her for drugs. The filing includes photos of the baggie, but the substance has not been independently confirmed as ketamine.
“She gave him drugs on her birthday,” Ididia Serfaty — a Los Angeles-based biotech entrepreneur — told The Post. “That’s, I hate to say it, shameful.”
The allegations appear in an October filing in Los Angeles County Superior Court submitted by Ididia Serfaty and containing statements signed by Roman. The filing alleges that Jessica violated an existing restraining order protecting Ididia and Roman from alleged abusive behavior.
“You went back for about three to five minutes and came back with a little bag, which we believed was ketamine,” Roman told his mother, according to a transcript of a phone call included in the filing.
The filing also indicates that Roman reported the incident to the Los Angeles Police Department in October. The status or existence of a police investigation couldn’t be immediately learned.
Jessica Serfaty denied giving her son drugs, according to the transcript.
“The only time I have ever heard my son ask for drugs was once, and he said it was for a friend, and I never gave him anything,” she said.
Jessica Serfaty was also accused in the filing of hitting Roman on the back in August, leaving a “large red hand-printed welt.” The incident happened at Del Vecchio’s home in Milan while the group was awaiting the paternity test results, Ididia Serfaty said.
In a text exchange included in the filing, Jessica Serfaty appeared to acknowledge slapping her son, claiming he had behaved threateningly toward her.
“The boy deserved a slap after he bowed up to me like he was gonna hit me!!! A pregnant woman!!”
Del Vecchio, who owns a Milan nightclub, made a startling claim about his sex life during an October podcast interview.
“I can say that I’ve probably made love with over 2,000 women, and I won over 90% of them by singing ‘Hero,'” he said, apparently referring to the 2001 hit by pop star Enrique Iglesias.
