The football world was thrown into a frenzy after the news that Texas Tech's Brendan Sorsby announced he will enter the NFL Supplemental Draft.
One question on everybody's mind has been, who is the last supplemental draft pick to make an impact on game days? Here's a list of the top supplemental draft picks in the league's history:
WR Cris Carter, Philadelphia Eagles
Carter was selected in the fourth round of the 1987 supplemental draft and went on to enjoy a Hall of Fame career with the Eagles, Minnesota Vikings and Miami Dolphins. Over his 16 NFL seasons, he was selected to eight straight Pro Bowls from 1993 to 2000. He was also honored as a first-team All-Pro on two occasions, in 1994 and 1999.

QB Bernie Kosar, Cleveland Browns
Selected in the first round of the 1985 supplemental draft, Kosar played 12 NFL seasons, nine of which came with the Browns. He was only selected as a Pro Bowler once, in 1987, but he recorded four seasons of 3,000 or more passing yards throughout his career and totaled 124 touchdowns.
DT Jamal Williams, San Diego Chargers
Williams was drafted in the second round of the 1998 supplemental draft before enjoying a fruitful NFL career which spanned 13 seasons. He was selected as a first-team All-Pro twice, in 2005 and 2006, while he made the Pro Bowls three times during his time in the NFL. He played all but one of his seasons with the Chargers, finishing with the Denver Broncos. Williams totaled 443 tackles 55 tackles for loss and 13 sacks throughout his career.
WR Josh Gordon, Cleveland Browns
After he was selected in the second round of the 2012 supplemental draft, Gordon burst onto the scene with 137 receptions, 14 touchdowns and over 2,400 yards in his first two years in the league. However, things quickly went south, as he was suspended due to a violation of the league's substance abuse policy for the entirety of the 2015 and 2016 seasons. Still, his meteoric rise early in his career was remarkable.
