Just 2.5 feet stood between Nelly Korda and another major title at the U.S. Women's Open on Sunday afternoon.

While she didn't exactly make it easy on herself, she was able to put home the putt – which swirled around half the circumference of the hole before finding the bottom of the cup. The par on No. 18 gave Korda a one-shot victory over Charley Hull and Gaby Lopez and gave the world No. 1 her fourth major title.

"It's even sweeter, especially with that ice cream swirl on the last hole," she said after claiming her second straight major title.

Korda sat seven shots off the lead after the first round of the weekend, but slowly crawled back into contention, tying for the lead after the third round. The win gave the U.S. golf star a fourth LPGA Tour victory already from a season in which she also has three second-place finishes in just eight starts.

"This week was definitely a grind," Korda said. "I don't even feel like I had my B game. I was just grinding out there, and that's what I guess major championships are all about, right? It doesn't matter if you have your B or C game. You have to be there mentally."

With the victory, Korda claimed the $2.5 million winner's share of this Open's record $12.5 million purse.
