Kyle Cooke doubled down on his “concerns” for his estranged wife, Amanda Batula, after calling out her boyfriend, West Wilson, for blowing up her “life and career.”
“There’s already enough negativity online, and the last thing I want to do is add to it. So I want to be clear, and then I’m leaving this alone,” The “Summer House” star began in a statement shared to his Instagram Stories Thursday.
“Despite our differences, I will always care about Amanda, and when it comes to people I care about, I fight hard,” Cooke continued, admitting that sometimes he fights “too hard.”
“It’s been an emotional and frustrating situation, and I have let those feelings get the better of me at times. But that doesn’t mean my concerns aren’t valid.
“Ultimately, I wanted us both to have the opportunity to share our perspectives on the show. But at the end of the day, Amanda has her own life and makes her own decisions, just as I make mine. I’ll leave it there.”
The reality star’s statement comes after he left a scathing comment on Wilson’s recent Instagram photo dump in the early hours of Thursday morning.
“More like [you’re] a coke head that blew my ex’s life and career up,” Cooke, 44, wrote in the since-deleted comment.
While Page Six confirmed that Cooke posted the comment at 6:51 a.m., it is unclear whether he or Wilson deleted it.
Following her ex’s biting remark against her current man, Batula, 35, retaliated by taking a swipe at Cooke.
The TV personality responded to a post via X on Thursday, calling out the Loverboy founder’s behavior following the news she was exiting Bravo’s “In the City.”
“Kyle realized that when Amanda declined to film the upcoming season of #inthecity that he could no longer control or manipulate her anymore and melted down in West’s IG comments,” one person wrote on the platform, to which Batula responded with the bullseye emoji.
On Wednesday, Page Six confirmed Batula would not be returning to “In the City” ahead of Season 2.
One source told us she made the decision because showrunners wouldn’t let her film with Wilson, 31, while a second source told us their was a dispute between her and the network over salary.

A third insider claimed that it just wasn’t the right time for her or Wilson to film.
Batula seemingly confirmed the last reason on Thursday, when she admitted she was too “beaten down” to return to the small screen.
“The continued hate from fan accounts and the internet is a huge reason why I decided I wasn’t ready to film again and put myself back out there,” she sent to Bravo fan account @yourmomsarewatching via DM.
“The bullying has been [too] intense, who would want to put their life out there for other’s entertainment when they’re constantly ripped apart and beaten down for every single thing they do.”
Her “In the City” exit comes months after she left “Summer House.” Batula had been a part of the fan-favorite Bravo show for ten seasons.
The swimwear designer seemingly made the decision following in her boyfriend’s footsteps, as Wilson had been ousted from Season 11 following his and Batula’s relationship scandal.
Cooke and Batula had called it quits in January after four years of marriage.
Two months later, it was revealed Batula was dating Wilson, who was previously close friends with Cooke and dated her best friend, Ciara Miller.
The controversy ultimately led to Wilson’s firing and the pair’s isolation from the rest of their “Summer House” cast.
