The Colts were having a fire sale on Tuesday.
Star running back Jonathan Taylor’s wife is now wondering if he could be the next one to go.
Indianapolis made sweeping changes by sending eight-time Pro Bowl guard Quenton Nelson to the Seahawks and fellow Pro Bowl defensive tackle DeForest Buckner to the 49ers in moves to pick up draft picks.
In two separate TikTok videos, Ayanna Taylor wondered what was going on with the team and what it could mean for her husband’s future.

Over the video, she wrote: “POV: You’re just tryin to relax at your hair appointment, but Colts players are getting traded left and right and your husband could be next.”
She posted a longer reaction video later with the caption: “Q and now Deforest… should I start packing?!”
Ayanna Taylor explained that this year had already been a huge adjustment after the Zaire Franklin (Colts) and Michael Pittman (Steelers) trades in March. For her, she had grown comfortable with the same wives and families over her husband’s first seven years in the NFL, all of which have been in Indianapolis. So with two more seismic moves, which came after the firing of general manager Chris Ballard, she felt even more off-kilter.

So, naturally, my mind is spiraling. Is this the start of the trade frenzy? What does this mean for my husband and I? Do I need to start packing our bags? Are we going to be spending our daughter’s first Halloween together? Will we make it to game day, or was last week the last time my husband is putting on a Colts jersey?”
Despite their 2-5 record, the backfield hasn’t been one of the issues for the Colts. Taylor, an All-Pro in 2021, leads the NFL with eight rushing touchdowns and ranks fifth in the league with 587 yards on the ground.
Taylor is under contract through the 2028 season, and it remains unclear how serious the Colts would be about trading one of their biggest offensive weapons. The Athletic’s Jonathan Jones, however, reported that Taylor would likely give Indianapolis its biggest trade haul if it does decide to move him.
The Colts will have until Nov. 10 at 4 p.m. Eastern to make that decision.
