Summer is on the horizon, which means that quite a few network shows are wrapping up their current seasons and airing finales. So have ABC’s hit first responder procedurals 9-1-1 and spin-off 9-1-1: Nashville joined the shows on hiatus?

On May 7, 9-1-1‘s “Hearts and Flowers” showed Athena (Angela Bassett) and Eddie (Ryan Guzman) survive near death experiences, followed by some serious changes taking place within the core group. Meanwhile, 9-1-1: Nashville‘s “Intrusive Thoughts” ended on a major cliffhanger with Blythe (Jessica Capshaw) and Dixie (LeAnn Rimes) physically fighting each other.

Needless to say, fans are anxious to see where the two shows are headed next. The question is, when do 9-1-1 and 9-1-1: Nashville return with new episodes on ABC?

If you head to ABC tonight, Thursday, June 4 (or Hulu on Friday, June 5) can you watch new episodes of 9-1-1 and 9-1-1: Nashville? Will there be a 9-1-1 Season 10 and will there be a 9-1-1: Nashville Season 2? And if so, when does 9-1-1 Season 10 come out? Great questions!

Here’s everything to know about the future of 9-1-1 and 9-1-1: Nashville, including renewal updates, premiere date info, and more.

Is 9-1-1 On Tonight (6/4/26)? Is 9-1-1: Nashville On Tonight?

Sadly, no! If you tune in to ABC on Thursday, June 4 at 8:00 p.m. ET there won’t be a new episode of 9-1-1 or a rerun, but ABC is airing the 2026 Stanley Cup Final from 8:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. ET.

Will There Be A 9-1-1 Season 10? And Will There Be A 9-1-1: Nasvhille Season 2?

You bet! The 9-1-1-verse is still going strong. On March 5, ABC renewed both 9-1-1 series. So we haven’t seen the last of the 118 or the 113.

When Do 9-1-1 and 9-1-1: Nashville Return With New Episodes On ABC?

9-1-1 and 9-1-1: Nashville are currently on hiatus ahead of Season 10 and Season 2 production and don’t have official return dates at this time. But during ABC’s Upfronts presentations, the network confirmed that both 9-11 and 9-1-1: Nashville will return in fall 2026 and keep their Thursday slots at 8:00 p.m. ET and 9:00 p.m. ET on ABC. Last year, they premiered in early October, so that could be the case again. But we’ll keep you posted when an official premiere date is announced!
