Ahead of summer travel season, Amazon Prime is offering three months of Audible for only $.99/month. Once the three months conclude, they’ll begin charging their typical $8.99/month. The deal, which runs through July 15, is one of the best Audible promos we’ve seen on the site yet.
To take advantage of the deal, you have to be an Amazon Prime member. Not a Prime member? You can sign up for a 30-day free trial here and then use it to claim the new Audible deal.
The limited-time deal is for Audible’s Standard Plan, which gets you one audiobook a month from their entire library — including bestsellers and new releases. With this deal, you can listen to Audible’s exclusive full-cast “Harry Potter” audiobook series. The first book, “Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone,” was released on November 4, with the rest of the series available now for pre-order. The audiobooks include a star-studded cast featuring Hugh Laurie as Dumbledore, Keira Knightley as Professor Umbridge, James McAvoy as Mad-Eye Moody, and Frankie Treadaway as Harry Potter.
You can check out Audible’s complete catalogue here, which includes celebrity memoirs like Lena Dunham’s “Famesick,” Britney Spears’ “The Woman in Me,” Al Pacino’s “Sonny Boy” and Viola Davis’s “Finding Me,” in addition to book-to-screen adaptations such as “It Ends With Us,” “The Perfect Couple,” and “Uglies.” Check out some of the year’s buzziest releases here.
Amazon’s deal runs through July 15 for all eligible Prime subscribers. If you aren’t a reader (or listener), an Audible subscription also makes for a thoughtful gift for the bookworm in your life. And if you play your cards right, they might not even know you only spent $3.
